Whisper was proud to support CLIC Sargant’s inaugural charity auction, A Very British Affair, at Claridge’s in Mayfair on Friday 13 September, which was held to raise money for young people battling with cancer.

The evening was hosted by CLIC Sargent Ambassador and Whisper co-founder Jake Humphrey and TV Presenter Christine Lampard.

Whisper was the event production partner and provided all the required moving images for the evening.

The celebrations saw several high-profile guests attend in support of the charity, including Holly Willoughby, Declan Donnelly, Ben Shephard, Reggie Yates, Danny Jones, Natasha Kaplinsky, Ore Oduba and Harry & Izzy Judd.

Guests enjoyed a menu designed by Michelin Starred chef Galton Blackiston and music from McFly star Danny Jones, Soul artist Tony Momrelle and Jazz singer Natalie Rushdie.

Donations were raised through a silent auction, live action and live pledge where guests bid for ‘money can’t buy’ prizes, including a Ferrari factory tour and a training session with England legend Glenn Hoddle.

A Very British Affair was the chance to mark September's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM) and learn more about how cancer can impact young people and their families. It shone a light on how CLIC Sargent works to support them physically, emotionally and financially. Some of the young people the charity has supported were performing at last night's event, including the incredible pianist, Michelle Huynh, and talented spoken word poet, Veronica Stanwell.

Guests gave generously and raised a huge £279K for CLIC Sargent.
