Whisper Makes Sponsorship Idents for BOSE
Whisper’s 2018 Formula One TV coverage for Channel 4, which began in Australia on March 25, featured new programme sponsorship idents for audio equipment company BOSE.
The deal was secured by Whisper Films new Commercial Director Geoff Riding, whose brief is to build Whisper’s Branded Entertainment Division.
Riding said: “In addition to our award-winning TV programming it is important for us to work and grow the commercial side of our operation.”
Whisper’s Branded Entertainment arm has also included producing high-end content for Red Bull, UBS, Heineken, Nissan, Hugo Boss and the Premier League.
This latest deal continues a promising start to 2018 for the company which enjoyed another successful year of coverage in 2017 including two Broadcast Award nominations for Best Sports Programme for the BBC NFL Show and Channel 4’s ground-breaking coverage of the Women’s European Championships, which attracted a peak audience of 4.3 million and over 15.7 million across the tournament.
In addition to F1 coverage, Whisper’s TV portfolio has also included BBC’s Women’s Six Nations, the Winter Paralympics for C4 and a range of documentaries for Channel 5, Formula E and the Olympic Channel.
