Ahead of Liam Gallagher’s forthcoming performance at Glastonbury, Channel 5 is set to air a documentary by Whisper Films: Liam Vs Noel: Brothers at War, on Thursday 27 June.

Featuring exclusive unseen footage and contributions from the people who were there, including Alan McGee and Tim Abbott from Creation Records, this one-hour documentary looks at the tempestuous relationship between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, former members of the biggest band of the past 30 years, Oasis.

Produced by Whisper Films, the documentary charts the brother’s relationship from the beginning, the trappings of fame and their success right up to the current day. It aims to try and find out why this sibling rivalry is so intense, ultimately leading us to the biggest question of all: will they reform?

Sunil Patel, CEO Whisper Films, said: “The documentary is part of a series we have made for Channel 5, charting intense rivalries. Offering a unique insight into the brother’s turbulent relationship by, amongst other things, sharing fascinating stories of those who were with them, Liam vs Noel demonstrates Whisper’s ability to entertain across an increasingly wide range of TV genres.”

Liam vs Noel is the second of the ‘Feud’ documentary series made by Whisper Films for Channel 5. The first was the critically acclaimed Ferguson vs Wenger. Liam vs Noel will be followed later in the year by a third documentary, Pep vs Jose.
